Paul Crouch Sr. Tribute (March 30, 1934 – November 30, 2013)

As many of you already know, my grandfather Paul Crouch, Sr. passed away this morning (November 30, 2013). I want to share with you all some home video footage of him and myself during Christmas around 1988. I will forever cherish the memories that we shared, and I consider it an honor that I was able to call him my “Papa.” While my heart grieves at the loss, I am comforted by the fact that Heaven is rejoicing at the amazing solider for Christ it gained today. There are truly no words to describe the respect and love that I have for my grandfather…He was a man after God’s own heart. If you knew him personally you would know that his love for propagating the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world was authentic and inspiring. His love for God and for people has influenced me tremendously in my own walk, and I pray that I can continue in his footsteps serving the Kingdom as fervently as he did.

Thank you for your prayers and support for our family during this time. Your love is deeply felt and appreciated. May God continue to bless you and your family during this holiday season.

  1. Brandon: Your genuine love for your grandfather….and our dear friend, is a tribute to his life of example and faithfulness to Christ that influenced us all…and me for sure. The Bible speaks of Faith in many different ways…Little Faith, Great Faith, No Faith, Full of Faith, Faith like a mustard seed, Your Faith, Faith of God, Law of Faith, Word of Faith, Measure of Faith, Gift of Faith, Shield of Faith and more..and Paul showed his great faith by his works…I will miss him.

    Hi Brandon,
I’m so sorry for the loss of your grandpa. I was very shocked to hear the news today. There is nothing like a loving grandparent. You don’t know me, but I was probably in the front row at COPWOC in that first clip you showed! My parents were on staff with your other grandpa, Ron Dryden. I remember you being such a cute little fella back then. We see Pastor Dryden every once in a while…as we live in Arizona where he now lives too. Again, so sorry for your family’s loss…yet he is receiving his great reward! God bless you all….

Your Granddad and I had a quiet sharing, well, just three us in the building, one evening in MC at WHSG. It was my second conversation with him, where I learned the strong value of leaning on the Holy Spirit. You and your dad have favor of our Lord and the fidelity of many of us others. In Christ’s Love and with His Love go through and go forth in this life with the Holy Spirit’s Lead quickly doing everything for God’s Glory. Be caught doing when He calls. I Bless God for Blessing You, your wife, your family.

Hi Brandon, We met your grandfather at TBN where he was filming “Behind the Scene”. When he finish he came and sat at our table and visited with us. He will be greatly missed by everyone. He loved prophecy and talking about the “End Times”‘ I hope things stay the same at TBN and follow the same spirit that he was following. I know there was family problems like most family because Satan loves to destroy families. I was very disappointed when your father left TBN because I felt he was very mature and that he was most like your grandfather. I remember when you and your wife were touring “Holy Land ” with your grandmother and I thought you looked so much like your grandfather when he was a young man. I had also saw you on TBN. I am so happy to see you are following in your grandfather steps preaching the gospel all over the world. Thanks for allowing me to share in your loss. Shalom , Sue Beaton

Hey Brandon, So sorry to hear of this…TBN went on the air in my hometown 23 years ago, right around the time I got married. There hasn’t been a week that’s gone by that my wife and I weren’t watching. We’ve supported TBN for many years, and have been glad we could play a small role in the growth of JCTV as we carry it on all of our TV stations…We are grateful for Paul’s vision to start JCTV! Tonight we’re sitting here talking about the awesome entrance into Heaven that Paul had earlier today and the reward he is now receiving. What an amazing man…a gifted minister and businessman all in one. We’ll be praying for you in the days ahead. Blessings & take care. Roger

Brandon be strong in The Lord and in the power of his might. I thank God for the sacrifice that your grandfather made so that millions around the world would have an opportunity to receive Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. He had the faith to step out and believe God to perform this miracle called TBN and he was a blessed man for it and his family as well. You stay true to who you are and who God has called you to be and don’t look to left nor to the right but keep your eyes fixed on the lover of your soul. Hold your head up high and remember who you are and who has called you. I pray for your family that all the plans of the enemy is destroyed and sent back to the sender and that God will have the last word. Victory in Christ Jesus.
